Hey guys.
I have a downloaded version of FM, and I didn't realize that I have a editor before today. I've made myself and some players who weren't there, and wanted to play with them on the team. But when I saved the database and went to play FM the database wasn't there. And the all people are from Europe patch was gone. So I've tried over and over again, i don't care about the Europe patch, but I want to play with my players.. Any suggestions?

Hi mate

When begin a new game, you have to choose the database that you have edited. There's a dropdown you can choose it from. It sounds like that your new game is based on the default database.

Well the problem is when i press the dropdown, my edited thingies aren't there.. It's only Original and 7.01 update. Or something

Did you saved the database? You can call it something like "My DB". The new edited DB will automatically saved at CDocuments and Settings\xxx\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db

mine's worse. I don't even have a dropdown too choose the database, anyone can help?

Try installing latest patch 7.02 and see if that helps. Then you'll have 2 database. One called 7.01 and updated patch 7.02 version.

I have the latest patch but i can't load it up too. Tried editing and loading the edited database just wasn't possible. Look around in the forum and search for related issues but somehow everybody gets stuck at this part and no one replied or offer solutions anymore. The exact problem is i edited the database, and click save as, no problem with that and i still can view it in the editor mode but i don't have the option to click and choose any datebase when i click new game. I can locate the file i saved and i also clicked the wizard to be on. Seriously in need of help here.

Maybe this will help:

> Make a copy of the 7.02 database located at the database folder (CProgram files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db). Place the copied database somewhere in you PC. Now delete both default database (700 and 702).

> Load FM from scratch. The game will tell you that it can't find the default and gives you the possibility choosing one.

No still don't work. It states no database is found and installation could be corrupt. I tried moving away the 700 and 702 and putting the edited one in place of it the the db folder but didn't work that way either. It just don't work man.
