I'm playing in 2028 atm and the quality of players has been dropped fiercely comparing to the beginning of the game, 2006-2007 that is.
F.e. There are like 10 defenders in the whole game who have more than 15 on marking. Also finding a defensive midfielder who wins everything in the air is impossible. Quite disappointing. Attackers are forseen quite well, realistic stats, but a bit too much target men in the game. Now I'm wondering if I can adjust the generation of players, giving them more quality, cause the game is much more easy since I'm getting all the good players while the other teams have some really crappy players (like some European topteams like Barca etc...). Makes it a lot more easy to win everything and it doesn't give you "a run for your money" feeling. So is there an option where U can get to the "regeneration data" (the way players are created) and change beginning stats for defenders f.e.?

Perhaps there is an option in the LNC files to do this?

The other option I can think of is to use a non-official editor and edit the current and future abilities of players. There is always the danger of corrupting your game though. And that obviously is not what you want.
