just having few probs here, iv went through the FM editor and havnt found anything to increase the clubs and Competitions edit section so i can change salarie caps from $30,000 to about $60,000, as having this $30,000 limit for the clubs restricts you from purcashing more marque players....anyways is there anything else i Should be opening in the fm07 directory, to get to it.
cheers.

Increasing salary cap in Australian A league Post #2
Yes yes, this is very annoying for me as an Aussie fan. What did I do is swap A-League teams to English League One Pretty fun seeing Aussie clubs with no restrictions. Only problem is that it follows the English League rules...
Others have swapped the A-league with the Singapore league, but I think that only works properly with 7.0.1

Fadz, the 1.8M cap is the annual figure. SI simply got it a bit lower i guess due to conversions.
it is possible to build a fantastic team with this restriction. I have had players like Lucas Neill, Tim Cahill, etc playing for Sydney by simply offering them low weekly wages ($2k) and then high apperance fees ($20k). appearances fess don't count against your cap.
to start out with, grab players like Porter, Edds, Garcia, Porta, Ryhs Williams, etc. They make a great foundation to build from. Winning the ACL at your first try is fairly simple too, just make sure you have at least 18 Australian or New Zealand players in your squard, the ACL has a limit of 3 foreigners.
A couple of us are moving Aussie clubs into other leagues to remove this issue, I'm presently doing this with the Dutch league so as we can have entire teams of non-aussies playing away.
good luck mate.
