No, they would not, w33nie, but a nation must have 10 clubs in order not to cause problems with the European co-efficients.

Ruttiger: I thought you meant making one from scratch. If you use your idea it is fine.

However, you don't have to have the same amount of countries for Europe, as this is not hard coded, and as long as any nation in Europe has at least 10 teams they will work fine, they will even get UEFA Cup/Champions League places in season 2.

No, you don't. You just need at least 10 clubs to be there. I am guessing the lack of clubs is what is causing the game to give you strange players for the national team. It can also cause the game to crash if there aren't enough clubs.

Wait a second....you mean to tell me we can create our own nations? Sweet! Also then swap there league with another league and have a new league for this country...good idea but too late for Fm07.

I done it in FM06, I thought most others would know about it.

I thought only way to do it was to swap with an existing nation because I thought the world cup qualifying and the continental championship would get screwed up.

That is the only way.

but with unused teams like C.I.S., Pays Basque & South Vietnam, you can just use one of those.
