Default How do I change the database to my created one in FM2007

I used to know how to do it, but I recently reinstalled my FM2007, and now, I can't change it from the default to the new version, how do I make it available for use in-game?

Go to your My Documents area, then Sports interactive, FM07, db.

Then look for the name of the one you created. If it's not there, either you haven't got it, or its stored somewhere else. Merely find it and move it there.

If it is there open the folder, if its usable there'll be 2 folders plus other files, .dat all of them. If there is just the 2 folders inside itm, you cannot use it.

If they are all there, then I am stumped. Itr should just appear in the dropdow box.

If u've created the new Database, it should be in C:/My documents/Sports Interactive/db' folder.

If its there and you still don't find it on game, copy the database into the actual game installation folder - e.g. 'C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/FM 2007/data/db'. It should work then!

I've done that but the game doesn't list it when i go into new game & click the dtabase button, it only shows the original and the 7.0.1 patch. have checked the installation folder and the files are there.

Any other ideas?
