Default Removing teams with pointreductions: what happens to the hardcoded parts?

If you delete a club that has hard-coded point-deductions and replace that club with an entirely new-made team, what happens to the game-engine then?

I mean, when you delete the database entry, the hard-coded part of the team still exists, I think. Doesn't it?

So will the game look for database entries that fit the hard-coded point-deductions, OR does the game-engine understand that when there is no team left with a suiting ID, that it doesn't need that piece of game-code anymore?

And if you make new team yourself, will it get any free ID that is left? Or always a higer ID? If it gets just the first free ID the editor can find, there is an option that it is an ID that previously belonged to a team with point-reductions. Or can't this happen?

I'm fully aware of the fact that people have asked their questions about removing point-deductions very frequently.

But, other than answers like "just isn't impossible to change", "it's hard-coded and non editable", "delete the team, and create a brand new one" and "this has been covered on the forums allready", there was absolutely no inside information whatsoever about the things that I asked.

Of course, I do understand that SI Games cannot or wil not give information on game code subjects. I don't want that information eighter. What I do like to know is, if it has any other concequences for my game when I delete such a team. Does the game/editor give random ID's, does it recycle old ID's, or only give new ID's to newly made teams. Can my brand new team get the ID of a deleted team? And thus can start with the point deductions of i.e. Scarborough or Milan?

And another question: Can I recycle point-deductions? And thus rename Juventus, to Ajax, move them to Holland and start a game with Ajax having a point-deduction?

Any help on this subject would be very much appreciated.

I doubt anyone apart from Si knows the answer to your questions. If you did some testing you could probably answer a few of those questions.

Didn't an update come out that removed the point deduction from teams? I'm pretty sure it did. FM Formation, or Weegie, i can't remember.

DS and DietSpam, thanks for your answers.

DS: I am not entirely new to editing (did a lot of transfer editing on CM3) but I have little experience on editing FM '06 and '07. As there are a lot of people here who do, I hoped they could answer this questions for me. I think you're right about SI. They should have the knowledge about this. Perhaps they could only give a bit of insite in this matter, so I know if it is worth the try.

Dietspam: FM Formation does. I don't know about Weegie, but I think they have removed those specific teams too. Perhaps any of those update-creaters has some experience with this particular issue, and is willing to share it with me.
