Hi, have created my own team, and after saving it and going into the game there is no option to load up my database version can anyone help, cheers

Did you click the save as option or just the save option? If you clicked the save option it will have saved your altered database over the original database. You need to click the "save as.." option and choose a new name for the altered database, then when you reopen the new game should have the option of the old database or your newly named one
