Question again. I figured that English teams get a few Irish, Scottish etc. regens too, because their staff has some knowledge of these countries (which makes sense because in real life these countries are pretty close to one another). Same thing for Holland with some German and Belgium regens.
I've always liked creating my own league. As said in another topic, I made a league for teams from the Seychellen, Comoros, Mauritius and the Maldives. I'm planning to make the same for FM08.
But there's the question, how can I make Seychellen club staff with knowledge from Madagascar (neighbour country). So there will be some regens from Madagascar too.
And another question. How will I be able to make these teams sign some young dutch, english (european) youngsters without a contract? Don't want to make the clubs too rich and stuff, still has to be realistic..
all random? You mean the knowledge of the staff or the players you get in your youth teams?
Well both can't be. Because than it would be a huge coincidence for all these Scottish youngsters to apear at English youth teams. Same for the belgium - holland thing
Only the American development league is pretty random. Since all the teams have a few players from all over the world. Mostly from unimported countries, but sometimes from Brasil. (Never from big European or Asian countries though)
Anyone who could share some knowledge on the subject?
I once had a game when a famous Italian manager took over Newcastle and two Italian regens were promoted to the youth system. A similar thing sometimes happens with other staff causing other nationality players to be generated. Maybe a foreign member of staff with a big reputation occasionaly attracts his nationality regens to the club?
I know! It's because he has knowledge of his own country. But how can you give all managers of 1 country the knowledge of a neighbour country? That's what I'm asking!!
