i am swapping leagues around and why cant i change league colours on the data editor???

You can't change the colour because the button is greyed out. Maybe this feature will be included in a patch.

You cannot change league colours because any competition that has a nation will automatically take the colours of the nation the competition belongs to.

If, for instance, you choose the world cup it will allow you to change the colours because there is no nation set.
