Hi, i made a new database, it saved fine and is in the file. But how do i select to play it?

On fm07 it gave you the option to pick it when clicking new game, but it doesnt do this on 08, anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I saw that too, and I'm kinda confused. It just goes straight onto the normal database..

you need to put it in my doucments/SI/FM08/db folder then when you start a new game it will ask you wish db you want to use

ye m8, it was put there automaticly - but the game is not picking it up, even when i go on the editor its not allowing me to load it up. But when you go to sports interactive/fm08/db the file is in there.

Had nowt but problems with the new game :thdn:

Try closing the game down completely.

Start the game.
Click New game.
Little box should appear with a drop down box.
Select yours and go.

Sometimes it doesn't let you pick a different DB.

here's the instruction for selecting database on fm07, i didn't try it on fm08 yet, but i believe it also works on fm08, hope the instruction helps you a bit

yop havin the same problems too, cannot select my custom made database at all

i found the problem, it got saved in the wrong direction.... not in the folder i designated to be my fm08 files folder

SOLUTION!!

start the editor, press "edÃ*t" ---> "options"

at the bottom, make sure that the folder is the exact same one where fm2008 saves everything (u can see that ingame @ preferences)

that should do the trick
