Also, take note that CA and PA aren't the end-all indicator of how good a player is in his position. It's quite possible for a player with much lower CA to be better than one with greater CA, as long as his skills are distributed properly. I've seen many defenders with high PA with stats very evenly spread all around, making them a decent all-round player, but not a very good defender.
Of course, you can always train them in different positions, and have one very solid player that can cover half of your team's positions...
