New Media: Is it worth it?

In previous iterations of the game, I've spent hours inputting loads of new media items into the game (e.g. websites for all the clubs, local newspapers, channels, etc). However, I always have to do it all over again when the new game comes out. Is it worth keep doing it?

I take it there's still no way to do all this in an EDT file?

It would be worth doing it if you enjoy it. Does it make a big difference to your game?

Yes, it's nice to have them in the game, but it's quite a lot of hassle doing it each year - is there anyway to do it once and use the same media items each year? E.g. by creating an EDT file?
