I expect you can just use the englisg language file from 2.2. Since 2.0 nothing really has changed in the interface, so shouldn't be a problem replacing the chinese.txt with the english.txt.

Oh, and if you can't wait;
before you patch make a copy of the fm.exe, patch as normal, and when you need to change something load the game with the copied fm.exe. Should work fine.

You wouldn't actually be playing the game with the unpacted fm.exe, just FMMing. Once you're done, save and close, and play with patched version.

It takes about 10 min to uninstall and then reinstall..
