Has that much really changed in terms of how player data is strored in? Has anyone tried tricking FMM into thinking your game is unpatched and seeing if it still runs correctly. I believe the version number that the SI patchers look at is stored in the registry.

What do you need an editor for other then to give yourself more money, make players better then they are and cleaning your team of injuries eh?

Yes and yes. Once you've patched you can only run FMM off a game saved pre-patch.

FMM looks for version 8.0.0, if the saved game is from 8.0.1 then it doesn't load.

It does not matter what patch you saved your game on, once you have updated to 8.0.1 as like every other version of FMM will not find it as the game running is 8.0.1 not 8.0
