Youth Nationality when teams from different countries swapped
I've swapped all the teams from Premiership to League 2 with clubs from all around the world - what division they go in depends on their nations FIFA ranking
I did it with an .edt file and tested it before finished Blue Square Prem etc. and it works fine apart from the fact that youth players who come through are all English. I thought it depended where the stadium was but I've looked through a few teams and people like Milan and Ajax are producing English players when I want them to be producing Dutch players
What makes it stranger is that teams who have greyed out players like Al-Ahly from Egypt, all their greyed out players are Egyptian but when youth players come through they are always English.
Anyone found a way to get round this and does this happen because of the .edt file?

They get set to England because I'm swapping them with English teams. I want them all in the same league system but I also want them to produce youth players from their own nations
The only way I could think to do it is to change the nations of the teams I'm swapping them with for example change Boltons nation to 'Italian' and then swap them with Milan.
Bit of a long shot though and it'll probably just corrupt it.

I done that in 2007.
They do come throught english, unless you leave your Reserves and Youth in that country.
It will bring through players of that nationality but you will not be able to send them to the youth team and you will not have a reserve team. All players will be in your first time. (N)

Once you move the over to the English league, change their nationility to wherever they came from. I've got an Oceanic league running, based in New Zealand, but with teams from Tonga and Fiji and they produce little Tongans and Fijians (plus some Kiwis).

To many wrong answers here. The nationality of the team doesn't decide what nationality the rgens will get. It's the stadium locatiobn that decides the regens nationality. F.ex if you add an italian team to the English league. The teams nationality will be english, but as long as the teams stadium is located in Italy, the regens will most of the times be Italian.

no offense veg, but did you even read his initial post? he's already checked the stadium location and it is Italy, i've always altered the nationilty of a team to its home nation and bingo, home grown regens.
