hey since fmm doenst work with the beta patch is there a way to remove the patch

i was thinking about deinstalling fm08 then reinstall and paste my save game back in the savegame folder.but would my save game be compatible again with 8.0 instead of 8.0.1?

Most sure not.

I had made a copy of the .exe before patching, and now when i try to load a savegame it crashes. The game itself loads normal, so I don't think it's a conflict of engine-files; just the savegame not as 8.0 expects it to be.

Altough I hope I'm wrong here and it actually loads in 8.0 (since afaik nothing changed in the savegame itself, only the engine).

oke ive deinstalled fm 08 and reinstalled it and i try to load my game and it loads for about 40% then shows a message cannot load game :/
so dont try it also cuz it doenst work :')

I wouldn't stress it too much. Jpee is pretty amazing at updating FMM. Although I wouldn't count on it, it wouldn't suprise me to see a 8.1 beta any day now.
And the full 8.1 patch should be out in a couple of weeks any way at which point there will surely be an updated FMM.

A save game in 8.0.1 will not be compatible with 8.0.0 vesrion if you reinstall.

It makes me laugh yes im saying bad things but not in that way for the trouble makes out there(i.e Sh** Stirrers) They release Football manager but people are able to crack it, AThen they release a patch to fix bugs cough apparently but then the crack apparently doesnt work!
It seems like they are leaving mistakes in the game so they have a reason to make a patch to stop the crack.
My question is why not make it unable to crack in the first place??????????
Okay im not a master at hacking and stuff but ive never cracked a game because of virus's iv e always paid for them, but it just seems to me over last few versions they have left bugs delbritalt so they can release a patch to stop the crack, Sorry if i am wrong but would make sense then paople cant not crack it.
Like i said im not a genious but people can crack before a patch but not after??
Why not release it with a patch to install with the game would make sense you know what i mean???
Any way bugs annoy me and i know alot of friends who buy games like for the playstation without thinking about patches or updates, And some dont have the internet!
They just play on the game and get disapointed why should they pay for the internet just to get patches and stuff.
Its like buying Lma Manager for ps2 then you are sick of the bugs etc... You have to buy another cd to fix it or a memory card thing to sort it.
Yes its free to download but not if you dont have the internet you have to pay for that.I never used to play on pc games before Fm Seris and i never knew much about patchs and updates etc because i never knew of stuff like that when i played on the playstations.
But as i said before i bought my copy of Football Manager but it just seems like every year there are more and more bugs???
Dont get me wrong i love the Football manger seris its the best of the lot in my oppinion, but people who dont know how to patch the game or dont have internet... etc who bought the game would be dissapointed as i would be in that situation anyway the game out sooner but at what cost to keep the moaners happy for a couple of days untill the start moaning about bugs andf things you cant keep them happy either way and that is true.They will be moaning now but i do not care i am just speaking the truth from my point of view!!

So people do not think i am speaking in text again :s Iknow i made alot of mistakes because i was anooyed and typed too quickly.
For some reason i canot edit my own post??
Anway we do thinks wrong and make mistakes we get warnings but its ok for the game to have mistakes with the option of reporting them to get them fixed?
Can not ever say i noticed a mistake with Lma Manager else i would not have payed 35 pound for it for the playstation!!!!!!!
Anyway yes im anoyyed but so what i know they but alot of work into this game and its hard work but at least take your time to make sure its okay wther you release it after Xmas as usual or before like now but people have to put up with bugs like the parents who dont undestand football and buy them for there young kids who are too young to understand mistakes?
Anyway just going to play on the game how i bought it must be worth the money i payed for it how it is, else it would not be charged at that price am i right ?

Why are you annoyed? People play the gae how they want. If they want to use an editor, then that is their choice. No need to get cranky about it. That is whats wring eith these boards, too many people think they are mods or something. i have de-installed fm08 and the re-installed.

you cannot load saves that were made after you applied the patch. however saves that were made prior to the patch will work fine.
