Using the DDT Generator thingy if i ticked all the nations would this slow the game down alot?

Has anyone ever ran their game with players from every nation?

Hey, I have run all of the nations before but you either need a super fast computer or a lot of patience. However, I have uploaded a file with all of the nations for everyone to use.

You need to put this in the following folder or equivalent and tick it in preferences when you start a new game: CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\data\db\800\edt

For some reason, it won't show in my game... and the one for European nations I made using the online ddt maker shows up quite nicely.

Trick is to not include England, Scotland, France, Germany, Holland, Italy in the ddt. Since most people play with at least one decent Euro league running it provides all the decent players (i find that England Championship provides enough of Europes quality players). When you have the other nations loading all their players, scouting can get very exciting. I unearthed a brilliant little Fijian in 2043 that I bought from FC Ba for a little over $3000...sold him on four years later for 15 million.

I always run all players from all nations, the game still runs fast.

spec, core2duo 6600 (2.4), 2 gig ddr2 ram, raptor drive, 2x x1950xtx 512mb ATi pcie cards (dont think graphics matter though).

fm08 runs a lot faster than fm07 did
