Default "Switching" Leagues

Hi All.
I've read loads about people switching teams, so for example, puting all of the Australian sides in the Israeli League, and renaming the Israeli League (AND changing its nationality to Austraian)...

However, I cant get this working myself. Whenever I do, to play my new Australian League, for some reason I have to choose to play the Israel League.

Does anyone know why?

What I have done is switched ALL of the A-League sides into the Israel League. Then added four fantasy sides to make up the number to twelve, and swapped them into the Israel league too.

Then I filled the Israel 2nd League with a load of Australian State League sides.

Then I've changed the Israel leagues nationality to Australian, and all the names of the leagues to Australian. AND I've changed all the clubs nationalities to Australian...

However, now to run my new League. I have to choose to run the Israeli League. NOT the Australian League.

Can anyone tell me why!?

Thanks for all the help guys

I worked it out thanks to a reply in another thread...

For anyone that searches and finds this thread looking for an answer, I'll post so you know

You have to change the nation thats teams are being put into the new playable League (or the bigger league etc) to have the three letter abbreviation of the nation that you are changing from.

So in my experiment, the A-League is a twelve team, two tier league, based on Israel league.
The New Zealand Leauge is an 8 team league based on the 8 League.

So Australias 3 letter abbreviation becomes ISR (this was Israels), New Zealands becomes AUS, and Israels becomes NZL.

Im guessing the game engine uses these three letter abbreviations as flags, or as unique IDs for these nations
