Thanks mate, look forward to it. I think might be best to just move it to whatever league you used for the swap (I moved it to Peru originally like the linked download guy did, but didn't have OCC...then i just tried to swap it into the A-League which works with the teams under a different nation but put it under New Zealand and crashes on load so it has to be the Oceania thing...i hope that made sense).

The A-League expansion is working great and there is a download available on the thread but the problem was that the NZ league didn't have OCC (not a too big a problem until the 7th placed league team made the World Championship...not on). As soon as i get that working i will tackle the final element of my swaps by creating a ripping american league (aparently the trick is to actually make it canadian to get aroudn the transfer issues).

Hope this is reasonable coherent...i've had a few at the local, so sorry if there is some terrible spelling or grammatical errors)

Hehe, well the downloadablr file is not the file I used. I used that database and swapped things around for a second time, because that database included several NZ teams that werent in the original. I initially hated the Peruvian format since there are way too many ames to be played, so I put New Zealand in the Indian format. PErhaps that explains the availability of the Oceanian Club Competition.

However, I too experienced problems with the continental competition as I explained before. But in the end it was playable. I got bored of the Indian system though, because there is a very long break in which no games are played. As a manager you can do several thngs in this break (take up the manager position at a country or buy very bad players out of sheer boredom).

I dont know if 2008 offers any better options, but I do hope that someone will improve the database so that there will be more teams from Oceania in the game (Fiji for instance has far more teams than there are in the database right now, and the same of course goes for NZ).

What do you mean "by the end it was playable" after one season or more?

BTW i have added something like 50 New Zealand teams from the very small amounts of info available on the internet...most of the grounds and info are correct as possible.

Great work on the Kiwi teams. I'll download it and see what I can do in terms of Fiji teams!

I meant that after all my attempts it finally was playable after the first season, I think. I dont know when the cup was supposed to take place, but I remember that on the date it should have started two teams from Oceania actually started their match for the Oceania Cup (which I of course won in the end).

don't download the one posted because it doesn't have those teams added...i am workiing on a new improved database as we speak. I have swapped it in to India (thanks for the idea) and the league has loaded up, but i haven't run it on holiday mode yet to see what happens.

Will provide some more info in a couple of days. But the db i have (which was built on top of a mid-august update has netweem 8-12 teams for each of the oceanic nations) so i don't know if it needs too many more atm.

i have the NZ league running, and left it on holiday mode until the 2008 edition of the oceania club championship and still didn't run. Did you change the history of the oceania comp? I don't know if running it any longer will help because it went through the whole nz season.

Did you add the comp as the continental cup in the teams-competitions field for teams?

I didnt change anything in the Cup itself, I just swapped the NZ competition for the Indian and everything just worked, I'll check it out right now, see if it works, it used to though.

ran it on holiday while i slept and it didn't do the OCC again. And it wasn't even the winners who went to the world club champ every year. I have another idea i will test out. I have changed so much and buit upon so many old dbs that i don't really know what is what anymore in my database

did you swap the lower divisions as well or just the national football league...cuz i know that peru swap didn't include it's lower leagues and it ran...when i tried to edit those and get promotions relegation working it was not selectable as a league. So maybe my problem is because i haven't properly populated the lower leagues (but usually when you do that it isn't selectable or crashes on load and neither of those is the case so that mst be okay)

Hmmm, I checked it out yesterday, but it didnt work either. I swapped some lower leagues of India, but it just doesnt seem to work. Odd though, because I am very sure I won that cup once.
