Apologies in advance if this has already been answered on here previously, but there are 89 pages on this forum, FM 2009 will be released before I read through them all.

Anyway, when I open up the editor and search for, for instance a team, rather than open up a window with the details of that team, it brings up a window as though it wants me to create a completely new team. How can I bring up the data for players that are already in the game and edit them.

Thanks for any help, as you can probably tell, I'm rubbish at this computer lark.

when you type in the name of the team are you pressing filter???? if you are dont!! you have to press enter.....also i think you have to save your database before doing anything (i dont really know)
