how would I go about making catalan a nationality the same way basque is in the game? like how several basque country teams have basque as their 2nd nationality.

I ask because I'm probably gonna create catalunya as a nationality (if anyone has any advice for that too I'd appreciate it, hehe) and use it. finally victor valdes will be able to play international football!

I've wanted to do this for some time, but due to the fact I'm not 100% how to do nations or am I good with graphics I've yet to try. Zoiberg, how did you do it? Who did you replace?

but then I actually checked the new editor, and there's no option to create a new country, language or even competition!

Maybe you can just edit some old nation which is in no use. I just created my own fantasy nation and leagues over West Germany in FM07 and it's working fine (swapped my fantasy teams to Colombia league system). They're competiting in all european contests just like other normal nations.

yeah but even if you do that, is there a way to make it so catalans appear in catalunya? no point in making catalanya a nation if players from that actual area won't get it. or at least have it as a second nationality.

REALLY, si should at least have catalan in the game as a language if nothing else (tho I'd give it the same status as basque has).

If you make Catalanya my way, the regens will have Catalanian nationality. I made Narnia and now I have lots of Narnian players in my game. Names of regens will come from language you select to that nation.
Hopefully this answered some questions. (If I understood you right. )
