i recently created a team of myself and some friends (gave us a 6000 seater stadium, decent enough stats and put us in the blue square premier, kicking out droylsden), and the game loads just fine,however i don't appear to be entering any cups in the first year. is this because i haven't had any league finish yet (i stated the club was founded 1st July 2007), and is there a way i can set it up in the editor that i can play in the setanta shield etc in my first year, or will i have to play a whole year with just the league to play in?

make sure the nationality of the club u created is english that might be the problem

And don't forget there is a rule in the FA cup that you have to have existed for at least 2/3 years before you can enter it.

i created a team and put the Founded date to 2000 and was entered into every cup available, so try that.
