Default A free transfer database for FM08

I remember this for FM07 and it was great fun to play, and was wondering if there is anyone making it for FM08.

And if not, maybe I could work on one

Germany- 1st division
holland- premier division
spain liga bbva
Italy- serie a
Portugal bwin liga

many people would be interested trust me the only problem is finding an efficient way to remove all players... I think there is a remove all players from a club option but not a remove all players option.

its a real shame SI havent integrated something like this as it would be a great way to play, itd be like drafting players in the mls is but with all the best players and clubs in the world!

I doubt that this would be playable after the finance revamp in FM08.

Many clubs will start with a predefined "Remaining salary budget", that appears to be added to the total wage of current staff and players to get to Wage Max.

If all staff/players was removed from a big club with a remaining budget of e.g. 100K/week, then that would become your total wage limit too. It wouldn't be very fun only to be able to sign 1-2 quality players with Liverpool and rely on amateurs to fill the rest of the squad.

I haven't tested this, but I'm pretty certain, that the economics would make a FreeDB unplayable now. Unfortunately.

Or you could just change the wage budget for each club with the editor after removing the players?

Perhaps to what the wage budget would be if there were no players at the club. Then it might just work but it'd be quite time-consuming

Yes, that would rule out an automated creation of the FreeDB, and I doubt anyone will do it without a macrorecorder.
