I personally feel that SI simply don't give guys like the commuinty much help regarding the structure of the database, which has led to this situation.

I don't think that's really a good idea. Disassembling the code is one thing, but then altering it and releasing it as MCFM is not cool.

If something goes wrong, or their utility does something malicious, then it's the good name of Mind Compression that's at risk.

I hope for the sake of the folks peddling this app, that they change the name of it at the very least (or make it clear that they're not from Mind Compression).
