Just some quick questions about the editor, well mainly i don't understand how the Potential ability works, mainly when a player has a minus rating, what does this mean, say -9 for example, i here that thats a very good score for PA, but how much better would that make the player be? when you he stop? Say if he started with a Current Ability of 130 how far til he peaks?

Sorry just trying to grasp the concept, sorry if i've missed this being posted somewhere obvious.

As I understand the player's actual PA in the game is slightly random based on the minus number he has. EG - a player rated -9 will be given a PA of between 170 and 180 (approx) when a new game is created.

-10 is the best, I think.

It's to make it less predictable how good each player will become every time you start a new game.

a minus PA means he has a random PA which is generated at the start of the game. A player with -10 is given a PA between 170-200, -9 is 150-180, -8 is 130-160 and so on. Once they are given a PA at the start of the game this never changes and whether he reaches his potential is a combination of many factors. ie. training schedules, facilities, level of compitition, regular games, injuries, age etc...
