im new here  after i have created a new db in editor how do i play that db or team that i have adjusted????

Well atart a new game and a dialoge box will come up asking what data base you want to pplay with

Is it something to do with the "wizard" - you might need to click on advanced options. Although I'm only guessing - I haven't played FM08 much yet.

no i've tried advanced options but it wasn't there(i.e no option to choose database you play with). so the wizard is fine it's just that when you press new game it goes straight on to "loading database" and it doesn't give you a dialogue box first

Weird. You should try reporting it in the bugs forum, if you haven't already. It's more likely to get dealt with there.
Just out of interest, are you using the default skin?
