I can't find this topic elsewhere, please excuse my naivity if there is but when editing Steve McClaren's recent departure from England, when I start a game the job is filled by a fictional manager on the game.

Anyone know how I can change this so the job is still available?

It isn't a bug. The post is automatically filled by a generated manager if left open. If you leave McClaren at his job and decide to take over the England job and leave(to create an opening) the FA will probably rehire him.
