I found this on the net...- Go to your installed FM 2008 game, ex. CProgram Files\ Sports Interactive\ Football Manager 2008\ data\db\ 800\edt
- Create one file with .edt extension, filename is up to you
- write this code :
- With same file above, add this code

“BOOST_TEAM” “CLUB NAME” BUDGETCLUB CLUBREPUTATION STADIUMCAPACITY

For example :

“BOOST_TEAM” “Parma” 50000000 9500 50000

It will make Parma has about 100 Million euro transfer budget, 9500 point club reputation (max is 10000), and 50000 stadium all seater capacity

but I don't know how to to write the extension...or where to write it...I also want to add that I own WWSM or Worldwide Soccer Manager...if that matters at all...I don't know...I'm not sure...

i am not gonna try this but i will tell you how u can do that.

simply create a new text document. write the code you want(boost team etc.) when you are finished make sure you have "Hide common extensions" unchecked in folder options. then you can see the name of your file with the extension .txt. rename and put .edt instead.

or if this is about adding to an edt file:

open that edt file with notepad and simply add the code and save.

dunno if this is how it works but you can try

Yes...I have WWSM...and I tried using the FMM and it didn't work...and now I can't do it this way so I don't know what else to do...can anybody help???

Hey guys...could you explain step by step how to do the Financial editing...Sorry but I'm really new at all of this...I tried it before...but I really can't do it...do I need another program like FM Modifier 2.22 or something...cause the way I did it before...I just went to: Start menu...Run...Browse...Program Files...Sports Interactive...Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008...Data...updates...update-801...db...801...then I go to the edt...folder...but then I don't know what to do from there...

Where should I write the file...in the edt folder? then how do I write it?and save it...cause it just says the window just says...OPEN and CANCEL...so if you guys could help me out...I would definitely appreciate it...thank you and ciao!!! Thumbs Up

I found the EDT file by chance i downloaded the Rich Britain database opened up a file called booster and just deleted the teams i didn't want to be rich, Its allways good to have a go at managing the mighty Pompey with 1.8 billion to spend 200000 capacity 10000 reputation ronaldinho at pompey great stuff

So how did you do it? does it work for WWSM2008 too or just for FM2008?
