Is there any official reason why sigames don't release such a database tool themselves, as they did befor with the Nygreen editor.

I'm sure they have them ready already for when they test their games.

At least they could be helpful for others.

I'm not even buying fm08 before I see such an editor so I am still playing 07 - but I can feel I am getting more and more impatient

Michael Nygreen was , to my knoweledge , a private individual when he developeed Scout and handed the code to Genie before he joined SI, so it is not an SI supported utility- it is therefore nothing to do with SI and is purely a third party utility.

People, DO NOT ask "is there any news?"
As soon as something new is known, it will be reported in this thread.
Read the news post from the author, and be patient! Constantly asking about it certainly won't make it happen any sooner...
