Unfortunately there is little news to give you but I would like to keep all the comments in the one thread and this one had disappeared oof the first page,
Genie hasnt responded to requests for info from here or on his own website ( which may be just as well considering how impatient and rude some posters have beem ) I have sent him an e-mail asking for an update and if and when there is some news ( and he may just be waiting till the first full patch is released ) I will advise you all. Guys-
Genie has at last responded on his website. He has indicated that he has started a new job and this is taking a great deal of time and the changes to the game database have been substantial which has meant a lot of extra work.
He says that he is still working on Scout but cant yet give any indication of a release date but confirms that it will be released ASP and asks for your continued patience. No doubt it will be worth it when the full patch comes out.
If possible please keep all comments about the Genie Scout programme in this thread and let the other ones die. Thanks.

It's good to hear that there is some news, even if it isn't "OK, it's being released this evening."
Why not ask a mod to lock the other thread?

| This is a good idea but it took me 2 days and 3 attempts to get the " Genie Scout Released "thread locked
I have asked in the other thread for people to post in here, so I will give it a couple of days to see if it disappears off the first page.

Due to my new work I experience a great lack of time. Another problem is that FM2008's base structure is really different from the previous ones. This way, it is unknown when FM Genie Scout 2008 is to be released. But wait patiently - the time will come and Scout will certainly see the world.
PS. I am informed about the site's technical problems (inability to register etc). I will fix it ASAP considering the zeitnot.
