Genie Scout for FM 2008- News Update

It sounds as this is just to much for one person with lot of other obligaitions, extremely tired on the brink of a collaps?

Would be better if it where a community thing not burdening the tired man whom then could have a better life with some free quality time on his hands. Better for everyone.

This means the patch and genie will be released by next week, I can actually start playing the game then!

The guy is also probably hacked off by some of the abuse he has had posted on his website in the last few weeks ( not in this forum, by the way )- it is beyond belief some of the comments levelled at him.

Since he has been working on this since the demo was released, I suspect ( and this is only my thoughts ) that the first release will be for 8.0.0 version and after the full patch is released ( soon ) he will update the Scout for the full 8.0.1 version.

At least we have an approximate timetable.

well his website has been updated. Its official, genie scout is released next week sunday '18/11'.

So, the good news is that it's just a week away, and the bad news is that we have to wait a whole week for it.

FrazT: Shouldn't the database be pretty much the same thing, patch or no patch? It's not like the Scout uses the match engine.

I have always thought that Mravac - but I think he has hard coded somewhere what version of the db it works with... seems a bit irish to me too.

At least we have a date now - that will keep everybody happy
