I think this Topic and the comments made on the Genie web site are a good case for Sports Interactive employing Eugene. I am totally dependant on his software to play the game with any level of enjoyment. I think we should make SI aware of the power of Genie.

If I had 3 wishes, they would be as follows:

1. Genie comes with FM
2. Genie comes with FM
3. Eugene get's lots of money, and Genie, comes with FM


P.S. Did you see what I did, the 3 wishes thing. Coz it's genie right!

SI did employ the maker of FM Scout ( Michael Nygreen ) to work on the in-game editor so it is not without precedent.

I think Genie could be something that they include as part of the game as an extra option, much like the database editor. Although it might be a conflict of interest, given the development of the scouting system within the game, I think it would be more constructive to include Genie Scout, and allow the user to decide. As soon as Genie comes out, I know what i'll be using more readily.

It should definately be considered seriously by someone with authority amongst the SI ranks.

I think so many people would agree.

Didn't Nygreen give him the source code? Surely he can't use someone elses code to sell. Obviously if Nygreen gave him it, he has added his own code in there but the base of the code is surely written by Nygreen?
