Is there a way to select a captain of a certain club in the data editor ??????????

I don't remember seeing any option to select a captain.

However, FM uses a number of criteria to suggest or select captains, not least of which is the influence attribute. Try raising the influence of the person you want to be captain, and making sure he can speak the domestic language of the club.

It's not edit-able in the pre-game data editor the game comes with.
