What purpose do you need the .edt file for? There are quite a few functions, so if you tell me what you need it for I'll see what I can do.

Its quite easy just go to your si file in your my documents, open up the database file in there shoulde be quite a few EDT files copy one paste to desktop rename open up and edit till your hearts content If its the money one i think you start the line with
"boost team" or something like that i am sure someone knows a quicker way but thats the way i did it

Well what I want to do is change the finances and stuff like that...but I can only do so much...and once I started the game I cannot put more money into the account...unless I start a new game...which sucks...any Ideas on how to fix this...or what I could do???

If you've already started the game, you'll need to use an editor like FMM or MCFM to change finances.
