I play FM on my home pc and my work laptop.

I'm starting a new game now the patch has been released and I've played about with the db.

I assume I have to use the same db on both machines?

If so where do I find my edited db & how do I go about transferring it to my laptop?

You basically just need the DB on the machine that you create the game on.
Just zip the game file and transfer it to the other computer.
The game file is by default located in "My documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/Games

If you want the DB as well, it's at the same location, in the folder called db.

I've transferred my edited db to my laptop and pasted it into my docs/si/db.

When I try to load my saved game I ger an error message the db folder with which this game was created could not be found. The game is using the default db folder.

Any ideas what I've done wrong???

You have to replace the original database with the database that you created.

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Data\Database (or something like that).
