Hi... I know this has been asked 100 times before me, but i still havent found any answers that helped me on.
So, I have changed one player from a club to an other club and tried to increase the clubs budget. I just wanted to test this before i started to edit more. I saved it as explained in the "help" file. I went to the map to check if the files was there, and they were. Now i Launched the game, pressed new game and it automaticly loaded database, the default one. I restarted the game, went to preferences and changed the location of "My database" to were my files is located. New game, same again - auto loaded default. I was NOT asked of what database i want to use. Now i moved the saved editor file from the Sports Interactive map - data - db to c - programfiles - sportsi interactive - data - db, and exactly the same happend... I dont know what to try now, and i dont know if i saved it on the righ place, but i should be as i havent do any changes to the folders.
Any one have the same problem or know what to do?
Sorry for any spelling mistakes done.
Thanks

I had this problem in 07 as well, but it was fixed when i downloaded the patch, because that added another database so the game started asking. But they havent released a patch for WSM for mac yet so until they do i am out of luck
Ohnooes - I don't know why this happens. Lots of people have the problem but I've never seen a solution to it.
Ita_Juve_10 - What operating system are you using? If it's just good old windows xp then the editor should be in the start menu, next to the game itself. Or you can find it in CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008
