I was trying out managing some BSS team, and i used miniscout to search out the highly touted youngsters. managed to search out a few, but only managed to sign some, almost everyone else did not want to join. i know it is cos my club is low rep, no continental competition, so on.

but what stat is it that makes certain players fine with joining me? is it world rep? i used FMM to check the reps of the players on my shortlist, all the unrealistic targets were generally above 1000 in world rep, while the few realistic targets were below 1000. but there were some sub 1000s in the unrealistic group too. is it their ambition or what? these unknown players also dun have the favoured club problem...

I don't know for sure, but I am guessing the biggest factors here are the reputation of your club and the player ambition, as you have already stated. I don't think the world rep for the player will play a part, this is how the world sees the player, not how the player sees himself.

The attraction rating of the city/town that you play in also plays a part in whether a player is willing to join

Adaptibility comes into it, too. I have a personal belief that percentage of career in a nation plays a role as well, as someone who has been in an area for most of his "life" would be less likely to want to leave. Especially if it's his native land.

Players own home,current and world rep is the major factor here. The lower it is, the more likely they are to join a low rep club as there own current standing is low.

You can edit these values in FMM

The player speaking fluently the language of the country you're playing greatly helps too (really, from experience).

hmm i used fmm to edit some regens to really low rep but they still dun wan to join my mangotsfield team heh... ill try editing their ambition, maybe languages and adaptability too..

I thibk for the palyer you would need to look at adapatability and ambition ( and loyality to a degree).

From the clubs point of view you would need to look at the club's reputation.

Another way that really increases your chances of signing a particular player is editing their relationships with clubs and personnel. Set their favourite club as yours and you as their favourite person and try again. Has worked for me tons of times.

Or just increase your clubs reputation, sign them, then put it back to normal. Same goes for the league reputation as well.
