I think it's one of the bugs if you use a crack or continue a save game from the demo.

In the Copa America in real life, i think they are allowed to invite 2 none South American teams to the tournament but in real life these are usually USA (North America) and Mexico (Central America).

This might be the reason why but most likely to be a bug!

Think japan have played in it once as well. So my point is that in real life there is a remote possibility of England playing in the Copa America!
