Default Transferring saved game help

Hi guys,
Wasn't sure where to post this but thought you guys would be able to help. I need to transfer my saved game to my new PC, but after a friend mentioned that saving my save game to disc is not enough as your manager stats (highest fee spent, awards won etc) are stored in a separate place I'm now unsure. That then got me thinking about other things like my tactics and my training schedules.
So basically I need advice on what files I need to save to continue my current game on my new PC in all it's statistical glory.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can offer,
-Reg.

I transfer my saved game frequently between my Mac and my PC laptop, and I've never had a problem with either lost information, or tactics/training.

I do this on a regular basis as sometimes I play too long of a game on my PC and need to transfer it to my laptop if I'm traveling.

All of the user files for FM are stored in your CDocuments and Settings\username\My Documents\Sports Interactive folder.

In there you will find your save game, graphics, skins and training, provided you have downloaded or created some.

Copy all of those and place them on a disk, or a flash drive, and paste them onto your new PC. Make sure you have the exact version of FM running on your new PC as the game won't run. So for example if you have FM08 8.0.1 on your old computer, make sure you have that one, the patched version, on your new computer. Seems silly, but I've seen others asking the same question and their problem is just that, they forget to install the patch they were using.

Hope that clears it up a bit.

Hi, Reggie's mate hear, who probably confused things in the first place.

My point was around the Hall of Fame and suchlike. If you've played two or more games, and got into the hall of fame on each, how does the second one know about the first, so you appear twice. I assumed that there must be something else, not in the My Documents bit, that got written to.

I was thinking the original database perhaps?

Anyone help?

Obviously, I meant "here", not "hear".

Doh! etc.
