It works

It works well until you actually take control of a team, when you do that the wage budgets are messed up (you get about £750 p/w to spend as MUFC). Other all teams sign players on frees though.

You can't really criticise it for not being realistic, when it goes a bit weird under totally unrealistic circumstances. There will never normally be a time when every club suddenly has no players.

Can anyone who knows anything about the new finance revamp explain why even when the editor says "Remaining Transfer budget 130000" You have a wage budget of £750 when you play the free db?

Because it's two different things? Remaining Transfer budget is, well, your remaining transfer budget. You wage budget is something else.
