Default Cure the corners, what to do?

Since the patch it seems like every corner is put to the near post. I changed corners to the penalty area option yet they are still doing this. I have not tried using the far post or the 6 yard options, do they work or not?

What should i do?

This has been posted many times. Remove anyone who is told to try near post flicks. Change it to anything else.

You could set your individual player instructions to ensure no-one is being asked to stand at/attack the near post.

yeah it isn't hard. Just make sure nobody is near the near post. You can even leave your corners on mixed as one's that are delivered to the near post dangerous if someone is attacking from deep.

Thank goodness SI managed to create such a realistic football management game that "managers" do as their real life colleagues and resort to putting no player near the near post because of the inevitability of the ball going into the side netting if someone is standing there. Now that is what I call top notch realism. It just takes my breathe away!

I scored 7 goals from corners last season by hitting it to the near post.

But I got so fed up of watching about 5 a game go wide I sacrificed the goals to save my sanity !

near post is the best, have a centre half with near post flick on and he WILL score at least 5 goals a season if your corner deliveries are half decent

Yeah it annoyed me, so i resorted to putting corners to the far post, and making sure no-one was either attacking the near post or flicking on. I still don't think I've scored from a corner, but at least I'm missing in a myriad different ways now.
