This is realistic in my opinion: Belgium will go to the Olympics with their strongest team possibel, so with Kompany, Dembele etc. ... so why wouldn't Portugal in the game?

Don't forget the Olympics team can call up 3 over 23 year olds aswell. This is realistic and has happened before with well known players, Gabriel Heinze in his first season with Man Utd being one of them. Get over it.

it is very possible that this would happen irl, it's the players choice and the olympics are quite an important sporting event with a lot history

Can be a pain in the arse tho. Had my first team striker sent on hols due to fatigue, but everytime I sent him off, he got called up for 23 Olympic matches! He didnt play for 3 months, of continous sending away

If you're going to make overly dramatic statements like the one above at least know a bit about what you're ranting about. As has been pointed out many top players, including Ronaldo, played in the last Olympics. So while annoying it is perfectly acceptable that it could happen.

So, with that being the case, saying things like 'SI, please fix this game before you make pathetic attempts to release a new one!' because of this just makes you look like an idiot and a petulant child.
