Ok im about to start a new game in the BSN or the BSS. Firstly im going to run the game with a small database, but this is my question. If i select all leagues in england active will i benefit from loading all players from england aswell?

Also can anyone suggest a few other coutries i should load?

Can anyone reccomend a team to start off with? i want a team that do have a bit of potential to take them up the leagues.

I'm not sure what the difference between a medium database and a small one with a few countries loaded. It seems to be pretty much the same to me.

I know I have been using lots of players from France, Belgium and Spain on my game as they come kinda cheap. Eastern Europe hold some gems aswell.

TBH this is a question Ive been meaning to ask too.Whats the difference in the database and countries loaded? Is the database only used for players in your countries leagues?

the way i see how this works is the database size will load up the players from your activated countries (however not for non league clubs) and what seem to be good players and prospects from some other countries. The larger the database, the more good players and potentially good players there will be.

When i start a game i use the large database and retain the players from around 2/3 of the countries as i like to have as big a database as possible.

But i don't retain players from the countries i can manage in, as having all leagues in those countries running opens enough of the players from those (in my opinion)

The best set of players I've found for running a team in BSS or BSN is France. My Bromley side was pretty much replaced with French players, some of whom were incredible. In my case I used the miniscout app to search for players available for free. If you are planning to avoid such applications other countries may not matter anyway as these players will probably not appear in standard searches.
