Ok... I'm a little lost for word for what happened.
Basically, I'm at ManU in 2019, Racing Santander came to bid for one of my Spanish regens. Now I decided to renegotiate the offer.
Then my regen suddenly became unhappy because I "didn't allow him to move club" when I haven't even reject their offer yet.
What's worse, Racing then came back with a very good offer (30mil pounds + 20% sell on clause for a defender) and I accepted. The regen had his wish and held talk with them and REJECTED them because he "felt a move to Spain isn't a good idea".
wtf... the AI has got some serious issues here... I just don't know what to say anymore...

That's some seriously ****ed up player, I wouldn't stand for his crap, Id criticise and ostracize him from the team and fine him.
Get rid of trouble players!
If he doesn't want to sign a new contract then you might as well sell him now or else he'll go somewhere else for free.
Try offering to clubs with like a 50 percent of next contract and with an option to buy him from them again.
I've noticed this as well. I think it's to stop you just negotiating rediculous prices for players to stop them leaving.
In FM07 if you didn't want to sell a player you just had to negotiate any bids up to £100m. Not only would the club withdraw their bid but, unlike just rejecting the bid outright, the player in question would never become unhappy.
I think now they've made it so that players will become unhappy even if you don't reject the bid outright. But it could probably be tweaked so they recognise that you're entering into reasonable negotiations and not bumping their price up unrealistically.

That was back in FM05 or 06 though. It worked pretty well so I'm not sure why it was removed for FM07.
yeah, he became happy again after a while. Offered a new contract, now in November and his natural value shot up to over 15million pounds. Playing quite well. I'm glad to be able to keep him. But yeah, personality seem a lil unpredictable.
