Strikers who play in lone striker formations are overacheaving when leagues are set on full detail?
I play the Premiership, Serie A, Bundesliga and the Spanish first division in full detail. An average striker from Sevilla, who play a 4-2-3-1 formation, has the following goal scoring record:
games - goals
38 - 36
37 - 44 !!!
and then for some unknown reason (no injury), his record for the next season was 0-0.
Roberto Soldado, Real Madrid
30 - 24 when playing 442
35 - 37 when playing 4-2-3-1
Bojan, AC Milan
26 - 24
37 - 36
36 - 36
I started playing those leagues in full detail after 5 seasons. For the first five seasons, the golden boot was awarded to goal scorers with 29,28,30,25 and 27 goals. For the next 4 seasons, which I played in full detail, strikers scored 34,44,36 and 37 goals.
It seems that low detail is more realistic than the full detail
Does anyone have similar experience?

He may be a world class talent, but even Maradona or Van Basten didn't score 36 goals (two times!) in the Serie A. For the last 30 something seasons, Luca Toni was the first to score 30+ goals in the Serie A.
