Just installed the new patch, and ive lent my disk to a friend, but stupidly i thought that my original no cd patch would work, as i dont like to use the disk in the laptop.
in theory he is right is he not, he has spent his money on the game and surely the fact he doesnt want to use the cd does not change the fact he has already purchased the game. I do not see what harm he is doing
Once the game checks for the disc being in there you can take the game out of your drive. I only reboot my computer every few weeks so I usually don't have the disc in when running.

I have the game, and i just prefer to have no CD's in the drive on the Laptop. Laptops get heated with disks running..and noisy.
If it is against the rules to ask, then fair enough.

Thats what i originally thought, but i guess the new patch being installed has to have the CD before running properly again?
