Will 'Football Manager 2008' work in Canada?
I have my Scottish cousin who has just recently immigrated to there who I'd like to ship over the European named version.
Does the European box work in Canada, just with there being 'World-Wide Soccer Manager' you see.
Is there a difference?
Its for his birthday this week combined with his christmas present and he's been a fan for a long time but would rather have the orginial title!
Many thanks for any help

It works. I'm GMT-6, and the only thing is, the game always defaults to MLS and Mexico.
FMM, GenieScout(beta), and MiniScoutSE all do not work with WWSM, and there is no workaround.
Get him FM.

It works fine over here
The nice thing about PC games is that they're region free. (As an example, I bought the UK Vietcong and it worked fine).

Dangit, guys! We're missing a perfectly good chance to tell him that FM was designed for 220-240V power outlets, and on the 120V North American system, it just doesn't get enough electricity. It runs, but we get a lot of nil-nil draws.
j/k of course - it'll work.

Pfft it still runs fine... just slower on half the voltage.
(Only kidding)
