I can't understand all these people moaning about FM 08 not being good enough. Ultimately FM is a game and as much as you like it will never be exactly like real life in future versions you won't be able to kick a water bottle and swear at your top striker as he misses a penalty. The game will never perfect and have all the features if it was we would not buy the next in the series just update the squads etc. I think in modern day gaming all games will be over hyped and over anticipated in order that we buy the next in the series hoping it will be better. Obviously Si wont make FM so bad that we crawl back to CM so we have to learn that all games especially sports games will always be slightly worse than they could be and make us wait for the next one.
True. Premier Manager is horrible. The new CM (I tried the demo) I uninstalled after about 6 minutes. FIFA Manager doesn't interest me (I can buy a car with my wages?! what?! why?!).
There's glitches and oddities and things that seem off here and there but it's the best football sim you're going to find out there.
