anyone started as a team in romania? if so whats the standard like and how easy is it attracting players there?

i'm with dinamo buc. the former (last season) champions of the country it's a good team with potential and if you can get your tactics wright you can deliver with them

steaua , poli timisoara , cfr cluj and rapid buc. are the top sides both financially and in talent

steaua, dinamo are in the champions league

cfr and rapid are in the uefa cup


for player attracting i would say you can get talent and if you lucky enough you can get well known players as well

if you manage to reach the group stages of CL or Uefa Cup then you get massive finance boost so its worth it :thup:

In Romanian league I've managed to buy foreign players with -9 potential, so you can create a powerfull team. No problem in buying class youngsters from italy, spain end england!

It means that his PA (potential ability) is between 150 and 180.

I was three seasons into a game with Poli Timisoara [sp?] and had just won the league. It was great fun and I plan to get back to it after I get bored with the challenge I'm doing.

I tried as much as possible to sign the best Romanian youngsters as they're not short on talent. But I also raided countries like Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Bulgaria. Eastern Europeans are usually keen to move to you, along with a few South Americans.

I've got a very good team overall at the moment and the money available isn't bad either.

Definitely recommended.
