Hi, I've been a lurker and a player for some while and I thought I would stick my oar in for the first time.
For me, the series is becoming too bloated and unwieldy. Every new release adds more features and more complexity, and the amount of time required to properly play the game rises ever higher.
Please note this isn't meant to be a rant, I regard FM as an incredible achievement, and I've been a fan of the series since CM1.
I just long for the days of CM2/CM3 when you could either whiz through a season, or take as long as you liked over it depending on your preference. I know Wenger + Ferguson spend 12+ hours a day at their jobs, but I can't devote enough time to it.
So far I've still kept buying the game, but I really wish for the next version that SI would try to streamline the game and trim off some of the more superfluous features. Or develop a "FM-Lite" for us poor mortals.
Is it just me that feels this way, or does anybody else agree with me?
Sometimes I agree with you...sometimes I don't. Your right if you have a lot of time then its a great game. Sometimes it take me an hour just to plan the lead up to a game and play a game, and sometimes I wish I could do it in 15 mins.
